A downloadable report of Battersea's research providing a damning verdict on the Dangerous Dogs Act, 25 years on. Hopefully this is the first step to repealing this dreadful law.
Please support John & Gill and all the staff in the fantastic job they are doing in very difficult circumstances at Soi Dog. see my photos from my visit in Dec '09 http://www.flickr.com/photos/ropemonkey09/sets/72157622860128845/ "Soi Dog Foundation is a not-for-profit, legally registered charitable organization, based in Phuket, Thailand, with the aim of setting an example to the rest of the Asian region on how to humanely reduce the number of unwanted dogs and cats through sterilzation, to better the lives and living conditions of the remaining stray dogs & feral cats and to educate local children on animal care around the island and at our shelter in Mai Khao, Phuket."

"Our website has been created to raise awareness to the horrors of what is generally known as "Puppy Farming/Battery farming". Every day in the UK a dog is killed every hour in council run pounds. We, the tax payer, are paying local government to kill healthy dogs, dogs who just need a home. Meanwhile local councils are issuing more and more licenses to puppy factory farmers to breed more and more dogs, its lunacy."

Also, alleviate any anxiety for pet owners which enables them to focus on their own well - being and assists recovery. Volunteers most welcome!
